Hall Points System
Current residents of Sheares Hall intending to continue their stay in Sheares Hall for the following academic year must compete for a place by earning points through participation in activities and attendance at major hall events.
Sheares Hall awards points to every member involved in hall CCAs (committee, sports, culture, or others) based on merit. Points are also awarded for attendance during major hall events, such as formal dinners.

Note:
Meals cover only Breakfast & Dinner for 6 days a week. Meal plans are not provided during vacation periods. The Halls provide Asian style meals. Residents may also opt for Asian style vegetarian or halal meals. For examples of meals provided in the Halls of Residence, please click here. In the event that the catered meals do not meet your dietary needs, it may be advisable for you to select a hostel without a compulsory meal plan.
